EUROPEAN SPORTS HISTORY
European Sports originated back in the late 1970's as one of the first soccer specialty stores to exist in the Chicagoland area. In 1997, the Janek Family, led by Sheila Janek purchased European Sports. Sheila instilled the philosophy of treating each client as you would like to be treated meanwhile respecting and showing compassion to each client. With her positive attitude and open mindedness, Sheila has taken a primary soccer store and turned it into the teamwear/spirit-wear expert it currently is today.
European Sports, ES, is now one of the top soccer specialty stores in the Chicagoland area. Also, ES has created its own niche in spiritwear within local high schools, youth sport clubs, colleges and even local businesses. Using the same philosophy, European Sports has expanded into the decorating industry by having its own embroidery, digital printing and heat pressing machines, allowing European Sports to dictate their own timelines to help better serve each customer. European Sports strongly believes in keeping the customer happy in any way possible. European Sports' staff will offer its expertise in any situation but at the same time, is also willing to adjust to the client's needs/wants.
